Hurricane Harvey Update

 

  • TBM has resumed disaster relief operations at Rockport and continue operations at Orange and Liberty. All sites will continue operations thru 12/16 and then close until after the new year.
  • TBM has been assisted with volunteers and resources from 27 Baptist State Conventions representing 31 states, Guam, and Japan.
  • TBM and its partners are active in 4 sites (Angleton, Liberty, Orange, Rockport) with feeding, shower/laundry, heavy equipment, chaplains, chainsaw, temporary roof, Flood Recovery, and other resources. All mass feeding is now complete. All feeding activity is in support of volunteers.
  • TBM has begun the process of coordinating church groups that are responding to the need through the Volunteer Village. TBM is providing equipment and direction for the groups. The Volunteer Village has provided 1,944 volunteer days resulting in 32,953 volunteer hours.
  • TBM Disaster Rebuild has deployed teams to University Baptist Church. Rebuild activity will close on 12/2/17 until after the new year.
