On Memorial Day, thirty volunteers with Texas Baptist Men helped with the services at DFW National Cemetery.
TBM provided four pallets of water and our volunteers helped direct traffic and the parking of cars, passed out water, shuttled the guests to the main area and anything else that was needed. Our thirty volunteers came from ten different Baptist churches. There were also students from Criswell College. Many of our folks brought their children and grandchildren to join us for our first Military Fellowship event.
Many of our TBM volunteers were told of the loved ones who are interned at this Cemetery and how our help was appreciated. Our Amy Thibodeaux was able to spend a few minutes at the grave of her father (see picture below).
