Volunteers are needed to assist with two ministry feeding operations of Texas Baptist Men on Sun., March 22, and Tues., March 24, respectively.

George Felkner, who oversees TBM's Military Fellowship, is heading up these operations. Felkner said he needs “three or four volunteers to help cook and serve” for the anniversary celebration on Sunday of Wagon Wheel Cowboy Church in Waxahachie, located at 328 Hoyt Rd.

On Tuesday, TBM will provide meals for the Baptist Student Ministry at The University of Texas at Dallas, an event requiring about 10 volunteers, Felkner said. The BSM is a Christian ministry that strives to share the love of Christ with students on UTD’s campus.

Felkner said he is in the process of coordinating times for both events.

Volunteers must be certified through a Yellow Cap training to serve at this event.  If you can help, contact Felkner at gkfelkner@gmail.com.
