Big Bend Adventure 2015

Luke noted in his Gospel that “Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” (Luke 5:16) This year’s journey to Big Bend National Park provided an opportunity for several men to withdraw to a lonely place and pray.

Men's River Canoe Trip

Come and join a 50 mile river adventure on the Buffalo National River in Arkansas.  The dates for this trip are April 26th through May 2nd, 2015.

A Very Cool Experience

Six men and three Challengers (young men in the 7th through 12th grades) gathered in Taos, New Mexico to spend several days backpacking and camping in the snow near Wheeler Peak in the Carson National Forest. As we were approaching the mountains and you could see the snow covered peaks, one of the Challengers said, “Ah, Cool!” Bob Fitzhugh, a seasoned Trip Leader responded, “No, Cold.”

Being Lucky or Divine Encounters

This has been an incredibly busy year for me with many activities and events that has occupied my time and schedule. I am a person who generally needs a purpose for doing something even when trying to get away.

Winter Backpacking Trip

You are invited to join a group of men and experience a winter backpacking trip to the Wheeler Peak Wilderness area of New Mexico.  This trip is open to the first twelve participants who are willing to head to the back country during the winter season.
