Don Gibson is a native Texan who worked in the engineering field for 25 years. In 1982 he followed the Lord’s leading and served five years as a Mission Service Corp volunteer leading Church Renewal Weekends for Texas Baptist Men. Texas Baptist Men asked him to join their staff in 1987 as Director of Lay Ministries. Don continued to serve Texas Baptist Men as a consultant throughout his tenure with Blackaby Ministries from February 2002 until January 2010.

Don’s responsibilities with Blackaby Ministries included material development, lay leadership training, teaching, and coordination related to Weekend Church Events. Don designed and coordinated the first Experiencing God Weekend in 1991 and has led countless weekends across the United States as well as in Canada and South Africa.

In January, 2010, Don returned to Texas Baptist Men full time as Director of Men’s Ministries and Church Renewal. In April 2011 he began serving as the Interim Executive Director of Texas Baptist Men. In October 2011 he began serving as the Executive Director. Don and his wife, Lena, reside in the Dallas, Texas area and are members of Prestonwood Baptist Church. Lena assists Don in planning and coordinating ministry events. They have two daughters and ten grandchildren.

Mickey Lenamon was born into a mission oriented family where his dad, Joe, was a Baptist Men/RA Leader and his mom, Tomi, was a Baptist Women, Acteen, GA Leader. He attended his first RA Camp with his dad at Latham Springs in 1966 while he was still a Mission Friend. There he met Bob Dixon as he was touring Texas RA Camps during his first year as State RA Director. Bob has been his valued mentor through the years up to the present time.



Mickey has been involved individually, as well as with his family, with Texas Baptist Men since its formation in 1967. His dad was a founding member, first TBM RA Vice President and then President in 1974-77 and continues to be active to the present.



Mickey has been actively involved with Texas Baptist Men since 1972. He became a fulltime staff member with TBM on March 15, 2006 as the Director of Resource Development. On January 1, 2008, he assumed the duties of the Associate Executive Director for TBM while continuing in his role as Director of Resource Development.



Before Mickey joined TBM, he was actively involved as a volunteer in many of the TBM ministries. During his high school and college summers, he was a Royal Ambassador State Staffer and Team Leader. He also worked as a TBM Young Men’s staffer assigned to Minnesota and Wisconsin. One summer, Mickey assisted Bob and Jean Dixon in planting a church in Saint Cloud, Minnesota as the Youth Director. He has also served as a member on the TBM Finance Committee and was elected Vice President for TBM Baptist Young Men.



He helped TBM Volunteers build the first Hospitality House in Huntsville near the prison during a 24 hour marathon session. He has been involved with several other building projects when the Retiree Builder’s were first being formed by TBM and Olen Miles. Throughout the 1980’s, he was part of the TBM Lay Renewals; and has participated in over 25 Lay Renewal Weekends as a Youth Coordinator or Team Member.



He grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and attended Texas A&M University. For 13 years, he was in the Financial Planning business in both Texas and Phoenix, Arizona. He married Sallie in 1988 and they have two wonderful sons, Ryan (23) and Parker (19).



As hobbies, he enjoys all types of hunting; especially deer, quail and pheasant.

Keith Mack

Background:
Keith has been active in the leadership of Royal Ambassadors and Texas Baptist Men since 1983. Keith was employed as a Communications Technician from 1978 until 1990. He served as an Associate Family Teacher with Lena Pope Home children's home for seven years working with troubled youth while attending Southwestern Seminary. Keith was employed by Southwestern Seminary as a Communications Technician from 1995 until 1999. In June of 1999, Keith began serving as the Children and Youth Mission and Ministry Consultant (State Royal Ambassadors & Challengers Director) for Texas Baptist Men.

Interest and Activities:
Keith enjoyes a wide variety of outdoor pursuits such as hunting, fishing and camping in addition to recreational activities and games. He has participated in the leadership of several summer camps each year since 1983 that are designed to minister to the needs and interest of male campers that range from 6-18 years of age. Keith enjoys playing a variety of games is well known for his appreciation of playing "42" (dominoes) and welcomes the opportunity to learn from the masters of the game.
