“The Making of Mighty Men of God”

 

 

“They will be as mighty men, treading down the enemy in the mire of the streets in battle; they will fight, for the Lord will be with them.” (Zechariah 10:5)

 

“God is constantly looking for men in whose hands His glory is safe.”

 

“God is always searching for men whose hearts are focused on Him and committed to Him.”

 

II Chronicles 16:9, “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose heart is blameless toward Him.”

 

Not one of the 12 men that Jesus chose to be His disciples were mighty men of God when He first encountered them. They were 12 very ordinary men from the marketplace of that day that responded to the words of “repent” and “follow me.”

 

Jesus began a spiritual journey process with them to shape them to “become mighty men of God.”

 

They became renewed men and lived out being “men in renewal.” They truly became “the mighty men of God.”

 

“Men in Renewal” is a new pilot retreat format and can be done in any church where there is a degree of spiritual interest from the men. It is by design for men who are searching (Click here to see "What Are You Searching For?") It is by design another way for men to encounter God. It is also a man-to-man experience leading men to God.
